Information in English

The classicist Villa Rosa is the last remaining "garden house" in Hanover today. Built in 1830 according to plans by court architect Georg Laves and preliminary designs by court master mason Ernst Ludwig Täntzel, it was once part of the former Glocksee garden estate. The estate was located on Glockseestrasse, which was built around 1700 as a thoroughfare outside the city fortifications that surrounded Hanover at the time.
