Experience firsthand what life was like in different eras: Stand at the imposing Aegidientor around 1636, where protection and trade met; meet the universal genius Leibniz (around 1673); and feel the pulse of industrialization (around 1875). Discover the unvarnished narrowness of an old town alley around 1902 and marvel at the lost masterpiece of river water engineering from around 1920.
