Public art has a long tradition and is highly valued in Hannover: Over the decades, more than 200 sculptures and installations have been placed throughout the city.

Anyone walking through the city center is confronted with historical and contemporary landmarks at every turn. They have become an integral part of the urban fabric. Yet upon closer inspection, they reveal surprises and insights, history and stories, perspectives and inspiration.
