Yes, with the HannoverCard tourist group, you can bring a dog instead of a person. However, only one dog is allowed per HannoverCard tourist group.

The HannoverCard tourist is valid on all public transportation within the Üstra fare network. This means you can also use DB Regio’s S-Bahn and trains, as well as private railways, within the Üstra fare zone at no cost. The only exceptions are long-distance trains operated by DB AG and private providers.

There is only one ticket for the entire group, so the group cannot split up. However, only the name of the primary holder is listed on the HannoverCard tourist; this person may be required to present an ID card.

I just want to visit the zoo with my family. Is the HannoverCard Tourist worth it even just for that?

With the HannoverCard tourist, you can visit the zoo at a discounted group rate. For a family of two adults and two children aged 6 and older, admission with the HannoverCard tourist group is cheaper than purchasing tickets and an Üstra day pass for the tram ride at the regular price.

Does the HannoverCard tourist have to be used for 3 consecutive days, or can I choose any 3 days within the validity period?

The HannoverCard tourist for multiple days (2 or 3) is only valid on consecutive days.

Is the HannoverCard Tourist also worth it for children?

It depends on the service provider. Many providers offer a children’s rate that is lower than the HannoverCard tourist price. This rate is often not discounted further. However, there are also offers where the children’s rate is discounted even further. There is no HannoverCard tourist specifically for children. However, children aged 6 and older can always take advantage of the ticket function, although an ÜSTRA Children’s Day Ticket may be the more affordable option in this case.
