The company has been roasting and selling premium coffee in Hannover since 2012.
Hannoversche Coffee Manufactory
In March 2012, Andreas Berndt founded the Hannoversche Kaffeemanufaktur on Liepmannstraße in the Limmer district of Hannover. His wife Antje and his three sons supported him and helped get the business off the ground. In October 2014, they opened their own coffee shop—selling beans and serving coffee—in the Galeria Kaufhof at Hannover’s main train station. In early February 2016, the Berndt family opened another roastery in Burgdorf, in the Region Hannover, featuring a classic Probat roaster from 1963. The factory outlet is open here on Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Since 2018, Hannoversche Kaffeemanufaktur has been operating a "small roastery" on Wunstorfer Straße in Hannover-Limmer. With the opening of the new location on Wunstorfer Straße, the café previously located on Liepmannstraße closed. The roastery is open Monday through Friday from 9:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. The new location features a café, a wide selection of accessories, and personalized advice.
