Good Friday: The Maschsee Fleet Sets Sail Again

Traditionally, the Üstra Reisen GmbH fleet kicks off the new season on Good Friday.

Information on the water level

Recently, the boats were temporarily unable to operate on the lake due to low water levels. The organizers will post updates on the current water level on this website starting in mid-March.

Timetable

The boats call at the following mooring points daily between 11:00 and 17:00:

One ticket is valid for up to 3 stops. You should allow 50 minutes for the round-trip. Tickets for all boat trips on Lake Maschsee are available on board our ships.

Attention: GVH tickets are not valid.

Coffee tours

Anyone who would like to enjoy a coffee party on the Maschsee with the club or friends can book a sightseeing cruise that includes coffee and cake. The cost is 20 euros per person (as of May 2025). The only requirement for this relaxing coffee cruise is a minimum of 20 participants on the EMS Niedersachsen and 30 participants on the EMS Europa-enercity. Individuals are welcome to board the Europa on Sundays starting at 12:00 PM at the “Fährhaus/Westanleger” pier to enjoy coffee and cake.

Celebrations and weddings

Solar catamaran with festive seating — For wedding ceremonies, the solar catamaran is equipped with white chair covers, white tablecloths and a pretty flower arrangement.

If you’re planning to hold your next birthday party or major company anniversary on a Maschsee boat, contact the First Travel Agency at Üstra Reisen (phone: 0511/700 950). You can charter an entire boat for your event starting at 320 euros per hour. (As of May 2025)

A special highlight: saying "I do" on the solar-powered catamaran "Europa-enercity." Civil weddings have been possible on Lake Masch since 2008. Those interested can obtain information on all terms and conditions and available dates by calling 0511/168 431 26.
