La Fiesta

Purpose: Experiencing and Engaging with Culture “La Fiesta” is more than just a dance event. It is a place for people to come together and engage in intercultural exchange. Our goal is to bring the diversity of Latin American music culture to life—from the roots of salsa to the sensual rhythms of bachata and kizomba. Here, integration is put into practice: music and dance serve as a universal language that makes age, background, and prior experience irrelevant.

What to Expect: The Atmosphere Forget about your daily routine and let yourself be swept up in an atmosphere filled with warmth and energy. Whether you’re taking your first steps together in one of our workshops or introductory classes at the start, or later joining in the free-style dancing (social dance)—at “La Fiesta,” the focus is on being together. The atmosphere is lively, respectful, and full of positive energy. It’s not about perfection, but about the joy of movement and the shared experience.

Target group: For everyone who loves rhythm Our offerings are aimed at a wide audience:

Beginners: want to overcome their initial hesitation and learn the basics.

Experienced dancers: Who want to pursue their passion in an authentic setting.

Culture enthusiasts: Who just want to enjoy the music and watch the hustle and bustle while sipping a cold drink.

Location of the event: May–September: Andreas-Hermes-Platz, behind the Cultural Center Pavilion. 

Time: Every Sunday from 4:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m.
