Built in 1971 as part of the "Golden Plan," the town of Seelze wanted to shut it down at the end of the last millennium. "No way," said the swimmers, and they founded a support association to preserve the pool. To everyone’s satisfaction, the pool is now running much more smoothly. The association maintains the pool with care and has nearly doubled the number of visitors! The personal connections create a relaxed atmosphere; seasoned seniors enjoy swimming in its purest form, and the many early-morning swimmers continue to enjoy beautiful sunrises through the indoor pool windows. The family pool welcomes visitors with a new entrance area and plenty of water toys.
