With over 50,000 students, FOM, Germany’s university for working professionals, is one of the largest universities in Europe. One of FOM University’s 35 campus centers nationwide is located on Berliner Allee in Hannover. Since 2012, apprentices and working professionals in Hannover have had the opportunity to earn academic qualifications while continuing to work. The curriculum at the Hannover campus focuses on practice-oriented degree programs in the fields of Business & Management, Business & Law, Business & Psychology, IT Management, and Health & Social Sciences. All FOM bachelor’s and master’s degrees are recognized both nationally and internationally.
Attractive study schedules
Courses are offered through various study models as part of the on-campus program at the university center. For the 2021 winter semester, the University for Working Professionals has also expanded its program offerings to include the Digital Live Study program, in which lectures are streamed online from state-of-the-art, multifunctional FOM studios. All live lectures are also recorded in a media library so that they can be accessed at any time for review. All of this sets new standards in higher education, as the program has been optimally adapted to digital live learning from a pedagogical perspective and offers students maximum flexibility.
Theory-Practice Transfer
Practical relevance is a top priority at FOM: The university maintains close ties with over 10,000 partner companies, including corporations such as Bertelsmann, IBM, Siemens, and Telekom, as well as many small and medium-sized businesses. Many company representatives serve on the university’s governing bodies and provide valuable input for the establishment of new study centers and the development of new degree programs.
The semester begins in March and September. For more information, visit www.fom.de.
