There are three disabled parking spaces on Human Rights Square. These are located directly in front of the town hall on the right.

Stadtbahnhaltestelle „Aegidientorplatz“ Distanz zum Neuen Rathaus: ca. 500 m Stadtbahnlinien: 1, 2, 4, 5, 6, 8 und 11 Achtung: Die Stadtbahnhaltestelle „Aegidientorplatz“ liegt unterirdisch auf drei Ebenen. Der Weg für Menschen, die auf einen Aufzug angewiesen sind, weicht hier deutlich von der üblichen Wegeführung ab. Stadtbahnhaltestelle Markthalle/Landtag Distanz zum Neuen Rathaus: ca. 550 m Stadtbahnlinien: 3, 7, 9 und 13

Bushaltestelle „Rathaus Friedrichswall“ Distanz zum Neuen Rathaus: ca. 170 m Linie: Bus 120 (Richtung Kröpcke / Hannover Ahlem) Achtung: An beiden Bushaltestellen führt ein Fahrradweg vorbei, der viel und häufig schnell befahren wird. Bushaltestelle "Rathaus/Bleichenstraße" Distanz zum neuen Rathaus: ca. 140 m Linien: Bus-Ringlinien 100 und 200 (Richtung August-Holweg-Platz) Bus 800, Richtung Kröpcke / Mehrum

Description

Access to the New Town Hall
There are two ways to access the town hall:

Main entrance via steps
The large main entrance can be reached via a U-shaped staircase with eight steps. There are two handrails on the side stairs. The double entrance door with two glass doors behind each other cannot be opened automatically.
Side entrance with elevator
To the right of the steps leading to the main entrance is a side entrance that provides step-free access to the town hall.
To do this, two elevators must be used one after the other.
