Technische Informationsbibliothek (TIB)

The Technical Information Library (TIB) in Hanover is the Leibniz Information Center for Science and Technology and a university library. As the German Central Specialized Library for Engineering, Architecture, Chemistry, Computer Science, Mathematics, and Physics, it serves national and international research and industry in its specialized fields, and as a university library, it provides students, researchers, and faculty members from all departments of Leibniz University Hannover, as well as residents of the region, with literature and information in both print and electronic formats. The library boasts an excellent collection of fundamental and highly specialized technical and scientific literature. To optimize its services, the TIB conducts applied research and development. The TIB is a member of the Leibniz Association.
