Das Andere Kino

Das Andere Kino is a nonprofit organization founded in 1974. It provides community-based, open youth programs. Anyone can volunteer at the cinema and café, which has been the only one in Lehrte for years. Since February 14, 2014, films have been screened using digital technology.

On select Sundays, we host a children’s movie screening in collaboration with the Lehrte Child Protection Association. The films usually start at 3:00 p.m. On these dates, admission is €2.50 for children and the regular €5 for adults.
