Das Andere Kino

Das Andere Kino is an association founded in 1974. It provides nonprofit, open youth programs. Anyone can volunteer at the movie theater and café, which has been the only one in Lehrte for years. Since February 14, 2014, films have been shown using digital technology.

On select Sundays, the children’s movie series is held in collaboration with the Lehrte Child Protection Association. The movies usually start at 3:00 p.m. On these dates, admission for children is €2.50 and for adults, the regular price of €5.
