Wasserräder am Bröhn

You can reach the Wennigser waterwheels by public transportation using the S-Bahn lines 1 and 2.

From Wennigsen: Head west on Kurt-Schumacher-Straße toward Bahnhofstr., turn left onto Neue Str., after 130 meters turn right onto Gartenstraße, and 220 meters later turn onto Hirtenstraße. After 300 meters on Bährenkampstraße, continue straight ahead on Bröhnweg through the woods; the path is signposted.

From Egestorf: From the station, take Egestorfer Str. in the direction of Wennigser Mark. After 450m turn right and after 260m turn left and continue to Georgsplatz. The path to the water wheels is signposted from there.

The shortest way by public transportation is to take the bus line 540 from Egestorf train station to either the bus stop "Blankweide" or "Gärtnereiweg" (approx. 2.6 km). Please note that the bus line only runs every hour at weekends.
