Horizons by heise is aimed at decision-makers and drivers of digital transformation—in other words, executives and managers. In addition to knowledge sharing, the event is deliberately designed as a networking platform to offer attendees a glimpse behind the scenes at various companies.

Horizons #25: As the keynote speaker, Anders Indset looked ahead to the future of the economy and technology in 2025

In 2025, philosopher Anders Indset delivered the opening keynote on responsibility in the digital age. Sascha Pallenberg, former Head of Digital Transformation at Daimler, provided insights on AI and data. Richard David Precht discussed freedom, work, and social change. Prof. Dr. Fabian Hemmert spoke about innovation and the limits of the unthinkable. In addition to many high-profile speakers, Hannover’s Mayor Belit Onay and Lower Saxony’s Minister of Economic Affairs Grant Hendrik Tonne also participated in live talks. The program for 2026 has not yet been finalized.

Where is Horizons #26 taking place?

The main venue for Horizon 26# will once again be the Old Town Hall. It has not yet been decided whether individual events will also take place at the Marktkirche, the wine bar across the street, the Dublin Inn, and Soli de Gloria, as they did in 2025.

The Old City Hall is located right next to the “Markthalle/Landtag” subway station (the second stop from “Hauptbahnhof” on light rail lines 3 or 7 toward “Wettbergen,” or on line 9 toward “Empelde”). If you’re traveling by car, the CONTIPARK Markthalle parking garage at Röselerstraße 7, 30159 Hannover, and the Marktstraße parking lot at Marktstraße 45, 30159 Hannover, are ideal.
