During the summer months, the Hannover Registry Office offers wedding ceremonies in the "Zimmer des Frühlings" (Spring Room) in the historic Galerie building—a magical setting for the happiest day of your life!

The wedding dates for 2026 will be published by the Hannover Registry Office in November 2025; guided tours and appointments can only be scheduled starting at that time. However, anyone who would like to take a quick look at the Spring Room can do so by registering in advance at 46.21Vermietungen@hannover-stadt.de. Please note that no further explanations regarding the ceremony’s proceedings can be provided during this appointment.

Couples with an existing wedding date in 2025 at Galerie Herrenhausen who are interested have the opportunity to view the Spring Room by appointment. Please contact us exclusively by email at 46.21Vermietungen@hannover-stadt.de regarding this matter. A specific appointment will be scheduled afterward.

Wedding photos

The Great Garden, with its Golden Gate, summer water features, and Niki de Saint Phalle’s grotto, as well as the Mountain Garden—with its stunning blooms in the Schmuckhof and its display greenhouses filled with tropical plants—offer plenty of beautiful backdrops for your wedding photos. Admission

The bride and groom and the photographer must pay the admission fee; wedding guests must also purchase a ticket at the applicable price. Different rules apply to weddings held in the Frühlingszimmer; see the information sheet on weddings in the Herrenhäuser Gardens.
