Permanent representation

For many years now, there has been a concept aimed at bringing people from the Rhineland and other regions of Germany together in a unique setting. The name “Ständige Vertretung” (Permanent Representation) is reminiscent of the “substitute embassies” through which the Federal Republic of Germany and the former GDR were once represented in each other’s neighboring countries.
For the past six years, Hannover, the capital of Lower Saxony, has also had its own “Ständige Vertretung,” introducing a new form of experiential dining.

The StäV has since become one of the city’s most popular venues. Located right on Aegi, the Ständige Vertretung has become a popular gathering spot. During the warmer months, the seats under the umbrellas in front of the building fill up quickly.
