By light rail (üstra)

Line U 4 From Garbsen via Kröpcke toward Roderbruch; Hannover Medical School stop

(From the main station, walk 400 meters to the Kröpcke station, or take lines U 1, 2, or 8 (Messe) from the basement level of the main station for two stops to Aegidientorplatz; there, change to line U 4 on the same platform level across the way)

By bus (üstra)

None of these depart from the main station; only tram transfers are available

Line 123 From Peiner Str. (U 1 / 2 / 8) toward Buchholz (U 3 / 7) or vice versa; stop: Hannover Medical School

Route 124 From Am Brabrinke (U 1 / 2) toward Misburg or vice versa; Misburger Straße stop (near the dental clinic)

Route 127 From Kantplatz (U 4 / 5) toward Misburg or vice versa; get off at the Misburger Straße stop (near the dental clinic). 

Line 137 From Kantplatz (U 4 / 5) toward Spannhagengarten (U 3 / 7) or vice versa; stop: Hannover Medical School

By car

Coming from Kassel Take the A7 to the Hannover-Süd interchange, then continue on the A37 toward Hannover. The A37 merges into the Messeschnellweg.

From Hamburg Take the A7 to the Hannover-Kirchhorst interchange, then continue on the A37 toward Hannover.

Coming from Dortmund or Berlin Take the A2 to the Hannover-Buchholz interchange, then continue on the A37 toward Hannover.

Take the A37 or the Messeschnellweg to the Weidetor roundabout, then turn onto Karl-Wiechert-Allee
