What is on the program?

At the IdeenExpo, getting involved isn’t just allowed—it’s encouraged: The event’s centerpiece consists of well over 800 interactive exhibits and more than 900 workshops. With its unique concept, the IdeenExpo consistently succeeds in inspiring young people to pursue careers in STEM—science, technology, engineering, and mathematics. Highlights include the walk-in Spacebuzz rocket from the German Space Agency and the robot swarm from Niedersachsenmetall.

Will there be free concerts again?

Yes. Visitors can once again look forward to some truly special headliners on the IdeenExpo Show Stage in 2026: SDP is scheduled to headline on June 20, and Zartmann on June 27. 

Which influencers will be at the IdeenExpo?

In addition to the concerts, IdeenExpo 2026 is also featuring social media stars with a wide reach. Throughout the event, well-known creators will be on-site, meeting their communities and offering insights into their areas of interest. Among those participating are

Also in attendance is influencer Marvin Wildhage (YouTube: over 1 million subscribers), whose journalistic videos regularly reach an audience of millions. “I used to visit the IdeenExpo myself as a student—so it’s really special to be back now from a completely different perspective,” says Marvin Wildhage. “I’m from Peine, right here in the region, and I’ve known about the IdeenExpo for a long time. That’s exactly why I find it exciting to see how it has evolved. For me, this is a place where you don’t just hear about things, but can really experience them. I’m looking forward to spending a day walking around the grounds, talking to the people there, and capturing all the impressions in my own way. I believe that young people in particular can see here just how diverse technology and the natural sciences are—and that there’s much more to them than you might think at first glance.”

What else is there to see at the IdeenExpo?

In addition to the concert evenings, IdeenExpo offers an extensive stage program featuring daily shows, talks, and interactive activities. Visitors can look forward to a mix of science, entertainment, and interactive experiences across multiple stages. One of the highlights is the daily “Wissen LIVE” show with Jacob Beautemps, which brings science to life on stage with spectacular experiments, celebrity guests, and a fast-paced atmosphere.

Another highlight of the IdeenExpo stage program is the “DeepTalk with…” series. In this series, well-known figures from the creator and media worlds invite fascinating guests onto the stage to discuss their personal journeys, experiences, and topics of the future. The talks are hosted by Tarkan Bagci, Salwa Houmsi, and Levi Penell, each of whom will present their own edition of the series.
