Room to Explore for Inquisitive Minds

Ideas Expo - Workshops & Presentations

What do science and technology have to do with cooking? How can you create cool hacks using household items? And how do you program video games? Workshops and lectures provide practical answers to many questions.

Sometimes you have to experience things for yourself to really get to the bottom of them. A wide range of workshops offers small groups the opportunity to explore scientific and technical topics in depth.

At the University Camp, universities and research institutions present the latest developments through interactive lectures and presentations, sparking interest in student life.

At the Children's University, young scientists get the chance to get a taste of university life: Live experiments demonstrate fundamental scientific and technical concepts and offer young people a fascinating glimpse into the world of science.

Save the date: The next IdeenExpo will take place from July 10 to 18, 2021.

Next trade fair: 20 - 28.06.2026
