Hannover Veranstaltungs GmbH (HVG)

It organizes the Maschseefest, the Glitterbox at the HCC, and the Herrenhausen International Fireworks Competition. It is also responsible for the curved dome lift at the New City Hall, the Old Town Flea Market on the Hohen Ufer, and the Children’s Flea Market on the lawn in front of the Lower Saxony State Parliament.

Since its founding in 2011, the HVG has become an indispensable player in Hannover’s events industry. With its diverse and innovative program of events, the HVG plays a key role in positioning Hannover as a vibrant and attractive destination both domestically and internationally.

In particular, by organizing the Maschsee Festival with the participation of numerous local restaurateurs, the HVG makes an important contribution to strengthening Hannover as a business hub.

On September 1, 2024, André Lawiszus took over as CEO of HVG.
