Between art and kitsch, vintage treasures and all kinds of bric-a-brac, there’s plenty for lovers of secondhand items to discover. Brand-new and off-the-rack items have no place here. Instead, surrounded by the iconic Nanas, the most original finds change hands.
The flea market is the perfect opportunity to clear out your basement or attic, supplement your household budget, or go hunting for rare finds. During the summer months, up to 200 vendors offer their unique wares—a must-see for anyone who loves something special.
Great Treasures for Little Sellers: Children's Flea Market Complements Traditional Flea Market
Starting in April, the children's flea market will add to the lively atmosphere at the Hohe Ufer market. On six different dates, the lawn between Schlossstraße and Karmarschstraße will be transformed into a paradise for young vendors.
With their parents’ support, children can sell their outgrown toys, books they’ve finished reading, stuffed animals, and children’s clothing—and in doing so, not only bring joy to others but also earn some extra pocket money. The children’s flea market is much more than just a place to sell things: it’s a gathering spot for families, a place to discover, swap, and share. And along the way, sustainability becomes a fun, hands-on experience as old favorites find new homes.
