Glitter box

Following the four sold-out Glitterbox parties held from 2019 to 2023—which drew attendees from all over Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Belgium, and the Netherlands—Glitterbox is moving on to the next round: On November 16, 2024, the successful party—with its exuberant 1970s disco-era lifestyle—will celebrate its sixth edition in the historic setting of the Kuppelsaal at Hannover’s Congress Centrum. For years, Glitterbox has been one of the most successful parties on the hotspot island of Ibiza. Germany’s only Glitterbox party in Hanover has become a fixture of the house and disco scene since 2019. With the famous Ibiza party format, Lower Saxony’s capital thus holds its own as an exclusive party destination alongside London, New York, Dubai, and Amsterdam. The Glitterbox creates an exhilarating party atmosphere with a soundtrack of nu-disco, classic house, and fresh vocal sounds. Under dozens of disco balls and with impressive, exhilarating confetti moments, an electrifying atmosphere takes shape. Accompanied by glamorous drag queens who travel all the way from London, dancers, and plenty of show performances, house music and disco sounds are served up by the scene’s top stars. Hanover-based producer and house DJ Mousse T. has been providing the Glitterbox family with groovy sounds since the first event in 2019. Alongside the local hero, international DJs will be behind the turntables, such as legendary producer Dimitri from Paris, who will be in Hanover for the first time.
