Hanover’s hit producer Mousse T.: “The lineup is phenomenal!”
Glitterbox in the Kuppelsaal brings an Ibiza vibe to November
Glitterbox 2023
On November 18, 2023, the wildly popular Glitterbox mega-party will celebrate the dazzling lifestyle of the 1970s disco era in the impressive setting of the historic Kuppelsaal at the Hannover Congress Centrum (HCC).
For the fifth time, Glitterbox is drawing partygoers of all stripes from across Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the Netherlands to Hannover with its contemporary soul and dancefloor anthems. With this famous Ibiza-style party format, Lower Saxony’s capital is establishing itself as an exclusive party destination alongside London, New York, Dubai, and Amsterdam.
The lineup is set. Once again this year, we have an outstanding selection of renowned DJs and acts. “As always, the lineup is phenomenal! With Dave Lee (also known as Joey Negro), Harry Romero, and Jamie 3:6, we have DJs who have never played in Hannover before. We’re also really looking forward to Sophie Lloyd, who’s been here a few times before. The atmosphere in the Kuppelsaal will be unique, as always. We’re working on a setup with an exciting new DJ concept. That’s all we’re revealing for now. The best thing to do is come by and see for yourself,” says hit producer and Hannover’s Glitterbox initiator Mousse T.
Glitterbox sets the standard in the club scene
Since 2013, Glitterbox has been one of the most successful parties on the hotspot island of Ibiza. From there, the party series spread across the globe. Thanks to the initiative and connections of local hero Mousse T. in the international music scene, Germany’s only Glitterbox party is held exclusively in Hanover. Since 2019, it has been a fixture of the house and disco scene, consistently selling out nights at the Kuppelsaal.
This year, 3,000 partygoers of all stripes are once again expected. The high-profile party from Ibiza attracts celebrities to its sophisticated atmosphere just as much as it does the art and culture scene. The galaxy of sequins, glamour, glitter, and thumping bass also commands the utmost attention in the disco diva and LGBTQ scenes.

The 2023 lineup (A to Z):
- Dave Lee (JN) (UK)
- Harry Romero (USA)
- Jamie 3:26 (USA)
- Mousse T. (Germany)

Dave Lee (JN)
Joey Negro is the best-known pseudonym of British DJ, producer, and remixer Dave Lee. Under a host of other names, such as Akabu, Doug Willis, and Z Factor, he was one of the first artists to incorporate disco samples into house music. From the ’90s and ’00s through to today, Lee has produced for music legends such as Bob Marley, Roisin Murphy, Pet Shop Boys, Diana Ross, Grace Jones, Lionel Richie, Mariah Carey, and Tears for Fears. To this day, Lee keeps the disco fire burning.
Harry Romero
There is no doubt that Harry Romero is one of the best and most accomplished producers of electronic music. The New York City house legend is constantly striving to expand his musical horizons. Meanwhile, his old club classics like “Tania,” “Night@The Black,” and “I Go Back” with Robert Owen never leave house DJs’ playlists. But the songs are just the tip of the iceberg, as his current catalog proves.
Mousse T.
For more than 20 years, Hanover-based hit producer and DJ Mousse T. has been regarded as one of the world’s most sought-after German music producers, songwriters, and DJs. His first smash hit, “HORNY,” in the late 1990s was followed by remixes and productions for Quincy Jones, Bootsy Collins, Randy Crawford, and Michael Jackson. His remix of Michael Jackson’s song “Ghost” earned him a Grammy nomination, making him the first German remixer to receive such an honor. He wrote the global hit “Sex Bomb” exclusively for Tom Jones. For years, he has been part of the Glitterbox family in Ibiza. In 2019, Mousse T. brought the glamorous party concept to Hannover as well.

Sophie Lloyd
London-based Sophie Lloyd works pure magic for the dance floor behind the decks and in the studio. With her love for disco, soul, and house music, she has already performed alongside Mark Ronson, Horse Meat Disco, Purple Disco Machine, Dimitri From Paris, and Todd Terje, and has been a frequent guest at Jade Jagger’s legendary Jezebel parties.
Jamie 3:26
Jamie 3:26 hails from the Beverly neighborhood on Chicago’s South Side and has made a name for himself as a “master of music selection” who gets every dance floor pumping. In 2018, Jamie 3:26 took his career to a new level and has since been touring the world with a consistency matched by few others in the scene. He always has his classic “Hit It N Quit It” in his set, which was released on the renowned “Salsoul” album. Jamie had the honor of headlining Boiler Room’s “Final Night In Paradise” extravaganza—a unique tribute to Larry Levan. This once again demonstrated his status in the scene. The beatmaker not only captures the essence of bygone eras, he also embodies the future of Chicago house music.
The local Glitterbox is organized by Hannover Veranstaltungs GmbH, which also runs the Maschsee Festival and the International Fireworks Competition in Hannover Herrenhausen. “With the Hannovers Nightlife format, we want to keep the city attractive not only to the young crowd. People of all ages, nationalities, and genders are welcome. The Glitterbox embraces and celebrates diversity,” emphasizes HVG Managing Director Hans Nolte.
The Glitterbox will take place on November 18, 2023, in the Kuppelsaal (HCC). Doors open at 9:00 p.m. Tickets cost 39 euros, plus a booking fee.
Advance ticket sales for VIP and backstage tickets are expected to begin in mid-September.
