Hannover: Relax and Unwind—From a Wide Range of Activities to Pure Relaxation!

For many, spring marks the start of the travel season, and there are plenty of opportunities for a short getaway in the coming weeks. Easter, Ascension Day, and Pentecost are particularly good times to explore the Hannover region. To coincide with this, Hannover Marketing und Tourismus GmbH (HMTG) is launching its spring campaign on March 22, featuring tips for a city break that includes nature! “Hannover Relaxes” is the slogan featured above large-format photos of the sunset at Maschsee, a boat ride at the adventure zoo, or a break at Ballhofplatz. Large-scale posters featuring a total of five motifs invite visitors within a 100- to 250-kilometer radius of Hannover to take a short vacation. The campaign focuses on North Rhine-Westphalia, Hesse, and Schleswig-Holstein.

Radio spots broadcast nationwide, advertorials in city magazines, in the supplement of the *Süddeutsche Zeitung*, and in German, Danish, Dutch, and Austrian travel magazines also offer numerous tips for a short getaway that combines urban life with local recreation. Online and social media activities showcase Hannover as an attractive travel destination and, via a direct link to visit-hannover.com, provide extensive information on the “Culture for Free” walking tours, current events, and the “Roter Faden” (Red Thread) tour.
