Hanover Will Be the Main Host City for the 2024 European Championship

Hanover will be a major host city for the European Soccer Championship and warmly welcomes international teams and fans!

Although Lower Saxony will not be hosting any matches for the 2024 UEFA European Championship, it will serve as a central hub for the international soccer community: The Turkish national team will set up its base at the Sporthotel Barsinghausen to prepare for the challenges of the tournament. The Dutch national soccer team will be staying at the Ritz Carlton in Wolfsburg, the “Autostadt,” and the Polish team will bring the European Championship atmosphere straight to Hannover: The squad will be staying at the Sheraton Hannover Pelikan Hotel and training on the field at Hannover 96’s youth academy at the Eilenriede Stadium.

This will make the state capital of Hanover the central gathering place for soccer fans from around the world in June and July, as it’s here that a passion for sports and hospitality come together!
