Hannover will be the main host city for the 2024 European Championship

Hannover will be a key host city for the European Football Championship and warmly welcomes international teams and fans!

Although Lower Saxony will not be hosting any matches for the 2024 UEFA European Championship, it will serve as a central hub for the international soccer community: The Turkish national team is setting up its base at the Sporthotel Barsinghausen to prepare for the challenges of the tournament. The Dutch national soccer team will be staying at the Ritz Carlton in the “Autostadt” of Wolfsburg, and the Polish team is bringing the Euro 2024 atmosphere straight to Hannover: The squad will be staying at the Sheraton Hannover Pelikan Hotel and training on the field of Hannover 96’s youth academy at the Eilenriede Stadium.

This means that in June and July, the state capital of Hannover will become the central gathering place for soccer fans from all over the world, as a passion for sports meets warm hospitality!
