Malaysia kicked off the 32nd International Fireworks Competition in the Herrenhausen Gardens at the end of May, followed by an evocative pyrotechnic show from Estonia last Saturday. The competition is now taking a summer break before resuming in August with Team Amir Morani Fireworks from India. The show, titled “Harmony Beyond the Horizon,” on August 17 is nearly sold out—only 500 tickets remain.
A special highlight of the evening: The Indian Association of Hanover e.V. is helping to organize the supporting program, which features music, dance, and activities for children. In this way, the association not only welcomes its compatriots who have traveled from afar but, above all, brings a touch of South Asian flair to the Großer Garten. The Amir Morani Fireworks team from India is inviting everyone to dance! Things are going to heat up during the show—we can reveal this much: dancing is encouraged. Under the motto “Harmony Beyond the Horizon,” colorful pyrotechnic designs, accompanied by groovy beats from various cultures, reflect the diversity of life on every level. The combination of dynamic effects and energetic sounds isn’t just a call to dance with abandon—it’s above all an invitation to embrace, respect, and celebrate diversity across horizons—for a harmonious coexistence.
Amir Morani Fireworks was founded in 1937 by Gulamali Morani and later taken over by his grandson, Amir. Since 2019, Amir has been working with his team under his own name. This is only the third time the crew has participated in a fireworks competition and the first time they have lit up the sky over Hanover. The South Asian team is understandably excited to perform amid the Baroque treasures and the castle backdrop in Herrenhausen. “This majestic venue calls for visual grandeur and a special script so that the audience leaves the venue filled with admiration,” says Creative Director Azan Morani.
Only a few tickets remain. Tickets are available at the Hannover Tourist Information Office at Ernst-August-Platz 8 or through the online shop at https://visit.ticket2go.de/#!/.
