HMTG press release
New brochure "Discover your region"
A wide range of leisure activities right on your doorstep - with highlights, insider tips and travel information - compactly presented on 47 pages.
To kick off the vacation season, the latest brochure from Hannover Marketing & Tourismus GmbH, “Discover Your Region,” showcases the diverse recreational opportunities in the Hannover region—from swimming lakes and farms to forests, windmills, parks, and horseback riding, as well as churches, children’s activities, and tips for climate-neutral travel.
This practical orientation guide presents all 21 municipalities with their highlights, insider tips and historical information on 47 compact pages. Colorful pictures round off the 21 portraits.
All leisure enthusiasts and explorers from the Hanover region who are looking forward to a vacation right on their doorstep now have new reasons to take a trip. The brochure is also designed to inspire visitors from outside the region to enjoy an exciting or relaxing vacation here. How about, for example, during asparagus season starting in May, taking a tour along the Asparagus Route in Burgdorf, making a pit stop at the horse track in Langenhagen, taking a biodiversity-focused detour to the Bissendorfer Moor, or riding historic streetcars at the Sehnde Streetcar Museum?
“People in the Hanover region can look forward to an eventful 2024. The season kicks off with the 15th Deister Day on May 5. In the summer, Garbsen transforms into a ‘city as a stage,’ and Hanover invites guests from all over the world to the Maschsee Festival. I especially recommend the Regional Discovery Day on September 8. Spend a day getting to know the colorful diversity of our region. I’m sure you’ll be surprised by just how much there is to discover,” says Regional President Steffen Krach.
