New Adventure Tour for Kids: Discover Hanover with a Flashlight

The walking tour takes participants through Hanover at night, guided by experienced tour guides and equipped with flashlights. With a flashlight in hand and through engaging stories, even the youngest participants will discover their city in a whole new light. Flashlights will be handed out on site. The tour lasts 1.5 hours.

“Following the success of the Flashlight Tour for adults, which we’ve been offering since last fall, we’re now looking forward to welcoming our younger guests. This exciting tour in the dark, taking in Hanover’s sights, is the perfect activity for families,” said HMTG Managing Director Hans Nolte.

City tours are already seeing 20 percent more visitors than last year

Following a successful August, with 740 guests on the city tours organized by Hannover Marketing & Tourismus GmbH, September saw an even higher turnout with 756 guests. Compared to the summer months of the previous year (August: 550 guests, September: 563 guests) and the pre-COVID year of 2019 (August: 412 guests, September: 339 guests), there has been a significant increase in demand for public city tours. These two record-breaking months this year are a major factor in the total number of guests at the end of September already being 20 percent higher than in 2022.
