Winter Campaign 2025

In two consecutive phases, HMTG’s 2025 winter campaign will highlight the festive spirit of the Region Hannover. The campaign kicks off on Friday with the nationwide distribution of the “Tips & Events/Winter 2025/2026” insert, followed by the second phase of the advertising campaign on November 24, featuring digital and traditional out-of-home media. The goal of the campaign is to highlight the region’s appeal during the Advent season and to present Hannover as a vibrant, welcoming, and economically strong destination.

The “Tips & Events” supplement has a circulation of 1.3 million copies and appears in select print and digital media outlets across Germany, as well as in daily newspapers throughout Lower Saxony and neighboring regions. It offers a wide range of event recommendations, activity packages, and other occasions that inspire readers to explore Hannover and the surrounding region during the winter and holiday season.

Highlights include the overnight stay package at the 4**** Superior Hotel “Love You For Infinity,” which includes a visit to the blockbuster exhibition featuring Niki de Saint Phalle, Yayoi Kusama, and Takashi Murakami at the Sprengel Museum.
Families can look forward to this year’s package for the GOP children’s musical “Jim Knopf,” while the New Year’s Eve package—featuring the HCC New Year’s Eve party and late check-out—is a perennial favorite.

The second phase will follow on Monday, November 24: A nationwide out-of-home and digital out-of-home campaign will bring the festive spirit in the Hannover region to the forefront. Under the campaign slogan “Give the Gift of Hannover,” large-format billboards and digital Citylight posters at a total of 506 locations will showcase the themes of magic, concerts, culture, and experiences. The visuals bring together the traditional Christmas markets, diverse events, and attractive experience packages that make the Advent season in the Region Hannover truly special.
