The Hannover Region as a Business Hub
Following the successful campaign promoting the Hannover region as a business hub, Hannover Marketing & Tourismus GmbH is now following up with additional campaign visuals!
The Hannover Region as a Business Hub
In collaboration with five partners, Hannover Marketing & Tourismus GmbH (HMTG) developed a location marketing campaign last November that highlighted the strengths of the Hannover region as a business hub. Following the overwhelmingly positive response, HMTG is expanding the existing campaign visuals—which focus on digital health, Smart City, Robotics City, and innovative degree programs—to include four additional themes: Starting in mid-February, HMTG will focus on the themes of “New Work,” “Startup City,” and “Business Hub” with promotional materials in four German states. In March, just in time for the world’s leading travel trade show, ITB in Berlin, the topic of sustainable tourism will be given greater prominence under the title “New Travel.” The goal of the location campaign is to use pioneering projects to showcase the diverse advantages of the Hanover region to students, startups, skilled professionals, and event organizers, thereby inspiring them to choose the region as a location.
“The new themes perfectly complement the central themes already being promoted. They build on these by addressing trends such as digitalization, flexible work, green innovations, and sustainable business practices. With ‘New Work,’ we’re once again explicitly highlighting Hannover’s office-sharing offerings. We now have around 25 locations for flexible and innovative work, and the number of coworking spaces is growing steadily. We need to make that visible. ‘Startup City’ promotes the Hannover region as a hub for the innovative startup scene,” says Hans Nolte, Managing Director of Hannover Marketing & Tourismus GmbH.
As the marketing agency for the Hannover region and its 21 municipalities, HMTG strives to promote the region as a forward-looking economic and living environment.
The HMTG launched this joint project last year. The first four designs, focusing on digital health, Smart City, Robotics City, and innovative degree programs, were developed in collaboration with hannoverimpuls GmbH, the City of Hanover, the Hanover Region, Leibniz University, and Hanover University of Applied Sciences and Arts.
