Once again this year, Hannover Marketing & Tourismus GmbH (HMTG), in collaboration with approximately 30 hotels in Hannover and the surrounding region, is inviting residents to a very special experience: “A Guest in Your City 2024.” From October 30 through November 4, 2024, residents of the city and surrounding region can enjoy a short getaway right on their doorstep at exclusive special rates.
Short Getaways at a Special Price
: For just 24 euros per hotel star and room, including breakfast, you can explore a wide variety of lodging options. This unique opportunity is perfect for spending the long weekend around Reformation Day with a change of scenery—without a long trip!
This is the eighth time the promotion has taken place. Since its launch, around 6,000 residents of Hanover have taken advantage of the chance to discover their hometown from a new perspective. Whether for a romantic getaway for two or a spontaneous party or cultural weekend with friends—“A Guest in Your City” offers an ideal way to explore the regional hotel scene, discover new hotels, treat yourself to a Sunday breakfast or a visit to the sauna—in short: to treat yourself to a break from everyday life.
Stylish Accommodations: 30 Hotels, Including Exciting New Additions
There are around 2,500 rooms to choose from, including luxurious 5-star properties in the heart of Hanover, hotels with saunas and swimming pools, urban design hotels, and charming accommodations in the Hanover vacation region.
There are also two interesting new additions: the June Six (formerly Loccumer Hof), which opened in April, and the Phil & Max in Laatzen (also opened in April). While June Six stands out in the heart of the city with its stylish ambiance, bistro, and bar, as well as its spacious coworking area, Phil & Max impresses with a rooftop terrace featuring a foot spa, a sauna area, a gaming area, and a movie theater.
The promotion is available starting Wednesday – here’s how it works
This offer can be booked starting September 11, 2024, at 10:00 a.m., at www.visit-hannover.com/zu-gast. The only condition is that at least one guest per room must provide proof of residence in the Hanover region at check-in. No credit card is required to make a reservation. Free cancellation is available up to seven days before arrival.
“The residents of the Hannover region are important tourism ambassadors. That’s why we’re very pleased that, together with our hotel partners, we can once again invite them to experience their own destination this year. The promotion period is timed so conveniently around the holidays that guests can enjoy a single night—for example, after attending a theater performance or concert—or even a long weekend. Those who don’t want to commit to one hotel can also take advantage of the special rate to ‘hotel-hop,’” says Hans Nolte, managing director of HMTG.
