Just in time for the world’s largest industrial trade fair, the Hannover Messe in February, Hannover Marketing & Tourismus GmbH (HMTG) is expanding its location campaign to promote the Hannover economic region with two new visuals: This time, the focus is on the Marienwerder Technology Park as an innovation hub, which is being highlighted both nationally and internationally. This positions Hannover as a global meeting place for the industrial sector beyond the Hannover Messe.
Hanover: dynamic, innovative, forward-looking
As early as 2023 and 2024, the HMTG, together with hannoverimpuls GmbH, the State Capital of Hanover, the Hanover Region, Leibniz University, and Hanover University of Applied Sciences and Arts, launched a comprehensive location campaign. The goal was to position the Hannover region as a leading hub in the fields of robotics, digital health, and sustainable education. Thanks to its central location in the heart of Europe and strong connections between academia, business, and research, the campaign has already attracted international attention.
The next phase of the campaign focuses specifically on the Marienwerder Technology Park. As an innovation hub, it fosters collaboration between startups, established companies, and research institutions, and is considered a key driver of the region’s development. The two new visuals highlight the site’s synergies and innovative strength, underscoring its importance for future-oriented industries.
“Once again, we are highlighting the strengths of the Hannover region as a business location,” emphasizes Hans Nolte, managing director of HMTG. His co-managing director, Christian Katz, adds: “HMTG aims to continue actively promoting the region as a forward-looking and sustainable business and living environment. The focus on the Marienwerder Technology Park is an important part of this effort.”
A Joint Initiative for a Strong Region
As in the past, the current campaign was developed in close collaboration with the five partners of the location initiative. aptum GmbH plays a central role in the project team and is responsible for brokering and marketing the technology park’s spaces. The goal is to highlight the wide range of opportunities offered by the Marienwerder Technology Park to businesses, thereby providing them with access to a forward-looking location.
The initiatives to date—which focus on digital health, Robotics City, Smart City, and innovative degree programs—have laid the groundwork for the region’s successful positioning.
