AUTOmobil 2014: Hannover, a Trade Show and Event Venue, Shows Its Strength (May 8, 2014)

From May 16 to 18, Volkswagen AG will showcase its wide range of models at AUTOmobil in Hanover. All twelve of the Group’s brands will be on display in a joint, free exhibition.

At AUTOmobil, Northern Germany’s largest auto show, the Volkswagen Group is showcasing the latest model highlights from its twelve brands: Volkswagen Passenger Cars, AUDI, SEAT, ŠKODA, Bentley, Bugatti, Lamborghini, Porsche, Ducati, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, Scania, and MAN. The exhibition will take place following the Volkswagen Group’s Annual General Meeting in Hanover (May 13) and will be open to the public from May 16 to 18, 2014. In Hall 2 at the Hannover Exhibition Center, the company will display around 50 vehicles. Admission is free, and visitors can view the entire range of models—from passenger cars to commercial vehicles and trucks to motorcycles.

“As Hannover’s largest employer, VW is a flagship for our city. With this exhibition, the company is adding another highlight to the event calendar and demonstrating the quality of Hannover as a trade show destination,” says Hans Christian Nolte, managing director of Hannover Marketing und Tourismus GmbH (HMTG).

Major events such as the EXPO 2000 World’s Fair and the 2006 FIFA World Cup have already established Hannover’s reputation around the globe as a cosmopolitan city and significantly expanded the demand for a wide variety of event venues.
