Hannover's New Year's Eve Bar Crawl (December 3, 2014)

Hannover is kicking off the New Year with a host of events and parties. “New Year’s Eve Hopping” promises an explosive lineup, featuring the Hannover Congress Centrum—which is celebrating its 100th anniversary this year—and the exclusive Galerie Luise shopping arcade. Partygoers can celebrate New Year’s Eve at two parties for the price of one. A free bus shuttle between the venues rounds out the New Year’s Eve Hopping experience.

In the venerable domed hall, none other than the legendary Disco Boys from Hamburg will be spinning a mix of modern house and electro tracks alongside disco classics: a lively atmosphere is guaranteed in one of Europe’s most beautiful ballrooms! Dancers, walk acts, and video art will provide a visual feast.

Under the direction of DJ Jonny Joka, the Beethoven Hall will be all about the "Flavor Mix." Together with up-and-coming talent DJ Nockes from Palo Palo, the two will deliver a spectacular mix show featuring hip-hop, R&B, old-school, and disco classics. This New Year’s Eve will mark the spectacular conclusion of the HCC’s anniversary year.

Program at Galerie Luise

The exclusive shopping arcade, located in the heart of downtown Hanover, will be transformed into a party venue for the occasion. Starting at 8 p.m., young and old alike will gather at Galerie Luise to dance the New Year in to the hits of the ’80s and ’90s as well as the latest chart-toppers. DJ Tom Wilcox and two vocal prodigies from “The Voice of Germany” (PRO7/SAT1)—Ramona Nerra and Tesiree Priti—will create the perfect party atmosphere in this stylish setting with a top-notch stage show.

Bus transfer between venues

The events all start at 8:00 p.m. Under the slogan "2 Parties = 1 Price," you can hop on and off the city’s famous double-decker bus for free throughout Hannover starting at 12:30 a.m. And starting at 3:00 a.m., all ticket holders also get free admission to the Raschplatz clubs Palo Palo and Monkeys.

Tickets are available at all major ticket outlets for €29 plus booking fees, and for €35 at the box office. Hannover Marketing & Tourismus GmbH has put together attractive accommodation packages for visitors to the state capital.

The Rote Salon, Dance Couture, and the Dormero Hotel are once again hosting the "New Year's Eve Showdown" starting at 8 p.m. at the Dormero Hotel Hannover. As usual, there will be a lively atmosphere across three floors. The perfect blend of restaurant, bar, club, and ballroom invites guests to wander around. Trendy DJs will spin a mix of house, electro, disco classics, and Top 100 hits, while premium drinks are served at the numerous bars.

The cast of Schauspiel Hannover, Martin Engelbach and his band, and many others working behind the scenes are set to put on a New Year’s Eve show—a spectacular surprise fireworks display—drawn entirely from their own energy and inspiration. Come celebrate with us! After the show, you can keep dancing right there at the New Year’s Eve party in the foyer.
