Planning for the Maschsee Festivals from 2014 to 2016 has moved on to the next phase: After the application deadline for the 26 food and beverage spaces to be awarded for the Maschseefest in 2014, 2015, and 2016 passed on December 30, the independent, multi-member award committee met this week to review and evaluate the 42 applications.
During a four-and-a-half-hour session, the proposals were evaluated using a point system in accordance with the terms of the request for proposals.
Hans Christian Nolte, managing director of Hannover Veranstaltungs GmbH (HVG), the company that organizes the Maschseefest, reports: “HVG and the members of the selection committee were very impressed by the diversity and creativity of the submissions. The committee has selected some promising concepts.”
Today, Friday, January 17, applicants will receive their acceptance or rejection letters by mail. In addition, applicants who are likely to be accepted will be invited to individual interviews.
Notifications of acceptance or rejection for Lot No. 3 of the “Food Mile” will be sent to applicants by February 28, as specified in the call for proposals.
Since no applications were received for the “Südanleger” position, the HVG is launching a new recruitment process to fill the vacancy.
