News from the Hannover International Fireworks Competition: Fireworks fans, take note!

On May 21, the International Fireworks Competition in Hannover will kick off with a distinctly French flair: Leading up to the performance by the French team, aptly named “Compagnie POK sous les étoiles,” there will be a lively and festive supporting program featuring artists from the sister city of Rouen. Residents of Rouen are cordially invited to attend the opening event in the Royal Gardens of Herrenhausen to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the city partnership. There’s also news for fans of physical tickets: Printed tickets for the five dates are now available at ticket outlets. Featuring a beautiful fireworks photo on the cover and an overview of all dates, the tickets are already getting people excited for the next competition season. For all fans of e-tickets—these are still available via the online shop. In about six months, the International Fireworks Competition Hannover Herrenhausen will enter its 26th edition. Between May and September, renowned pyrotechnicians from around the world will once again captivate audiences with their fireworks shows featuring spectacular pyrotechnic effects and perfectly synchronized music. Some of the teams are participating in the internationally renowned pyrotechnics competition in the Royal Gardens of Herrenhausen for the first time. Ukraine will even be represented for the first time in the history of the International Fireworks Competition in Herrenhausen. And with IP Innovative Pyrotechnik, a team from Germany is back in the competition after a five-year hiatus.
