Managing Director Cliff Hooge first visited the Herrenhausen Gardens 13 years ago, when he was working as a student for the Hendricks & Lefeber Vuurwerk team. Even back then, he was captivated by the beauty of the gardens and the tranquility in the heart of the city. Today, he hopes to touch the hearts of visitors in Herrenhausen with his own show. H.C. Pyrotechnics will take the audience on a journey of emotions. Through music and visuals, the show guides the audience through a range of human emotions—from sadness to happiness, from heroism to confusion, and all the way to the feeling of being in love or loved.

The supporting program
Silver, tube-like creatures that seem to be from another world greet visitors with a “slack” handshake and all sorts of pranks. In the Great Garden, visitors from Belgium—the comic book stronghold—are already waiting: The little blue Smurfette Svenja cycles dreamily along the paths, past Fritella Pommella’s French fry truck, which serves up over-the-top comedic treats topped with ketchup and mayonnaise. The finest Belgian chocolate turns into a sensual and comedic experience at the Petit Café. At the Garden Theater, very special guests from the UNESCO City of Music, Ghent, are waiting: the six young women of Belcirque will give a très charming, swinging concert featuring pop, blues, and musette, complete with feathers and dance interludes. The newcomers from Hagelslag will reinterpret well-known songs in their very own style on the rehearsal stage. On the children’s stage, the young Monsieur Momo brings smiles to faces and sparks the imagination of young and old alike with comedy and magic full of poetry. Nily Nils captivates his audience on the cabaret stage with acrobatics and juggling, and later, at dusk, with his mesmerizing glow show featuring luminous clubs.
