The Brazilian team Fireworks do Brasil at the International Fireworks Competition!
In the Großer Garten, which was sold out with 11,000 visitors, the Brazilian team will light up the sky over the Royal Gardens of Herrenhausen on June 1, 2019, with their combined feminine power.
International Fireworks Competition - Brazil
Colorful samba performances, with and without stilts, welcome guests and set the stage for a lively, festive evening. At the Garden Theater, Marcia Bittencourt and her top-notch musicians present the magic of bossa nova and samba—a tropical seduction! Soraia Drummond and the Soul Rebelz reinvent the samba-reggae genre on the rehearsal stage with warm soul and plenty of groove. Magnificent baroque horsemanship can be admired at the Western Crescent. The exciting capoeira dance show brings a genuine Brazilian vibe to the Children’s Meadow, inviting everyone to join in.
At 10:30 p.m., the team from Brazil will take the stage. For the team, participating in the International Fireworks Competition is a dream come true and a great honor to represent their country. Maria Cristina Tiberio, owner and designer of the show at the Royal Gardens of Herrenhausen: “It seems like a place where time has stood still—so magnificent, elegant, and beautiful. A fairytale setting for telling amazing stories with fireworks.” Reason and Emotion: A Duel of Passions—that is the theme of their show. The creative process, the eternal contrast between reason and emotion—that is what her fireworks aim to showcase. From production to design, precision and technical expertise are required, but the goal is to touch the hearts of the audience and evoke a range of emotions. It takes a great deal of work for just a few minutes of brilliance—for the Brazilian team, a metaphor for life. With a soundtrack consisting mainly of instrumental and classical pieces, the audience is invited to remain calm while being swept up in a variety of sensations, amplified by the right effects, creating tension and emotion and shifting the rhythm of the show.
The Team: Fireworks do Brasil The team is based near Rio de Janeiro and has an incredible track record: they have been recognized by the World Record Company for their shows and have won international competitions, such as the 2013 Shanghai Jinshan International Beach Music Fireworks Festival in China; they are the only Brazilian team to be a member of the American Pyrotechnics Association; and they stand not only for fun and entertainment, but also for sustainability. Being able to accompany stars like Katy Perry, J-Lo, Eminem, and Bruno Mars with fireworks during their performances is a dream for many pyrotechnicians—and has long been a reality for the Fireworks do Brasil team!
