Glitterbox Hannover “Work Your Body Tour”

Glitterbox, currently the most successful party on the hotspot island of Ibiza, is heading out on its "Work Your Body Tour" and will be making stops in London, New York, Amsterdam, Dubai, and at the Tomorrowland Festival in Belgium, as well as in Hannover.

The Glitterbox in Hannover is organized by Hannover Veranstaltungs GmbH (HVG), best known as the organizer of the Maschseefest and the Herrenhausen International Fireworks Competition. Hans Christian Nolte, Managing Director of HVG: “Glitterbox is an international brand in the nightlife scene. We are thrilled to be able to bring this highlight event to Hannover with the support of Mousse T. Last year, more than 150,000 people danced to the sounds of Glitterbox.” At the Berlin Travel Festival in March—a new and forward-looking travel festival at the Arena Kreuzberg—Glitterbox was already the top topic alongside the Leinewelle at the young “Hannover Living” trade show booth.

With a soundtrack featuring nu-disco, classic house, and fresh vocal sounds, the Glitterbox creates a genuine party atmosphere that brings everyone together on the dance floor: Under dozens of disco balls and with impressive, exhilarating confetti moments, an electrifying atmosphere takes shape. Accompanied by glamorous drag queens traveling in from London, dancers, and plenty of show performances, house music and disco sounds are served up by the scene’s top stars.  In Hannover, Purple Disco Machine, Mousse T., and The Shapeshifters will provide the perfect soundtrack. Mousse T. adds: “I’m thrilled that we were able to bring the prestigious Glitterbox event to Hannover and thereby set a benchmark for the entire club and entertainment scene in Germany.”

The venue – the Dome Hall
In Hanover, the Glitterbox—a true 21st-century disco—meets a venue dating back to 1914. As the centerpiece of the Hannover Congress Center, built on a scale comparable to the Pantheon in Rome, the Kuppelsaal provides a unique and spectacular setting for the Glitterbox’s “Work Your Body Tour.” This is high-class entertainment in Germany’s largest, classic concert hall.

Advance sales of “Early Bird” tickets ended on March 24, and from a tourism perspective, they were a great success: 80% of ticket buyers live outside the Region Hannover. This adds another highlight to Hannover’s calendar of events, helping to showcase the city as an attractive place to live and study internationally.
