Visiting Your City – Summer Special

Over the past five years, a total of more than 3,500 residents of the city and region of Hannover have stayed at “their” hotels. A little break from everyday life is right on your doorstep, and—especially given the current situation—it can be a welcome change from staying at home.

Hans Christian Nolte, Managing Director of HMTG, commented: “This initiative is a strong statement that the Hannover tourism industry is now making as a responsible host. It’s a great opportunity to showcase the quality, reliability, and hospitality of our hotel industry. I cordially invite all residents of the region to see this for themselves and experience their home region as a vacation destination.”

New: For the first time, family rooms are also available at a special rate. For an additional charge of €10 per room per night, two adults and one child (up to age 16) can stay in a triple room at one of the hotels.

With over 30 participating hotels, guests have a wide range of options. They can choose between a 5-star hotel in the city center and accommodations right along the hiking trail—or they can simply stay in different neighborhoods or towns during the promotion period. Brand-new to the vacation region and already part of the program: the me and all hotel am Aegi, the IntercityHotel Hannover Hauptbahnhof-Ost, and the Akzent Hotel DÉJANIL in Burgdorf.
