Hannover Convention Bureau at ibtm WORLD in Barcelona

At ibtm WORLD 2021 in Barcelona, the Hannover Convention Bureau will showcase the Region Hannover as a versatile destination for meetings and conferences.

More than 10,000 industry experts from over 100 countries gather annually at ibtm WORLD in Barcelona. This makes it the
world’s leading trade show for the congress, conference, and events industry.

Under this year’s theme, “It’s time to get back to business,” the Hannover Convention Bureau is also participating as an exhibitor. At the German Convention Bureau’s (GCB) joint booth, the Hannover Convention Bureau, together with Deutsche Messe, is showcasing the Region Hannover as a versatile conference and convention destination.

Hans Nolte, Managing Director of Hannover Marketing und Tourismus GmbH, the company that oversees the Convention Bureau project, commented: “Despite all the uncertainties brought about by the current situation, Hannover can showcase itself as a MICE destination on the international stage in Barcelona. It is important for all of us that our industry can meet in person again. I am delighted by the high level of interest and the many positive discussions we have had so far.”

ibtm WORLD 2021 will take place from November 30 to December 2 at the Barcelona Exhibition Center.
