Follow the "Red Thread", a 4.2-kilometer circular route that leads to 36 sights.
The "Roter Faden" connects Hannover’s sights and allows you to take a personalized walking tour on your own. The route leads to major attractions, historic sites, and cultural landmarks. Clear markers throughout the city guide you systematically through the Old Town and downtown, as well as to iconic buildings such as the New City Hall. An accompanying brochure with information about the stops is available at the tourist information office.
