Kestner Company
Over 700 group and solo exhibitions have been held in the former Goseriedebad, the current location of the Kestner Gesellschaft. Shortly after its foundation in 1916, the Kestner Gesellschaft presented works by El Lissitzky, Käthe Kollwitz and Kurt Schwitters. This was followed by notable exhibitions by artists such as Andy Warhol, Tony Cragg, Louise Bourgeois, Barbara Kruger, Roman Signer, Guerrilla Girls, Paula Rego, Klára Hosnedlová and, most recently, Paloma Varga Weisz, Jack O'Brien and Trevor Yeung.

Cinémathèque in the Kestner Gesellschaft
Whether on exhibition tours, in exchange with artists, at performances, concerts, readings, workshops or lectures - the Kestner Gesellschaft communicates art in a variety of ways and offers a broad program of events for all age groups. The program for children aged four to twelve is particularly popular: The kestnerkids discover artistic positions through creative design and experimentation with materials and forms and are inspired to create their own works of art. In addition to accompanying programs for the individual exhibitions, tours take place on Sundays at 4 pm.
