Growth in the hotel market

Tourism in the Hannover region is at an all time high.

In addition to the business traffic during the big international leading trade fairs, urban tourism with attractions such as the Adventure Zoo and International Fireworks Competition are becoming a linchpin to the hospitality business in Hannover. There are 103 businesses offering approx. 13,400 beds, including 40 hotels with over 8,000 beds. Figures for overnight stays have now far passed the 2.2 million mark. Over the coming five years, another nine new hotels are set to be built, adding a further 1,800 rooms. Room rates are below €100 on average, and the net initial yield is 5.4%.
