Here's how geocaching works in Hannover!

All tours in the “Ge(o)heimnisse der Region Hannover” series are designed to be enjoyable at any time.

Whether you’re visiting our region and just looking to go on a one-time treasure hunt, or whether you live here and want to uncover more Ge(o)heimnisse, the Ge(o)heimnisse Tour is divided into four quadrants, each containing three caches. In addition, each quadrant features a bonus cache that can only be found and opened once the three regular caches have been solved.

But that’s not all: Once you’ve found the bonus cache in all four quadrants, you can use it to unlock the super bonus cache that we’ve hidden for you as an extra treat on the “Ge(o)heimnisse” tour. In other words, a total of 17 “Musical Ge(o)heimnisse of the Region Hannover” are waiting to be discovered by you!

You can also set out to discover a total of 11 international geocaching experiences in the Region Hannover. This way, you can explore the whole world right here in Hannover.
