Ferrymen's Festival 2026

From July 31 to August 2, 2026, Fährmannsinsel will once again become a gathering place for music fans, families, and anyone who wants to celebrate summer in a special atmosphere. On the Music Stage and the Colorful Stage, visitors can expect a diverse program—ranging from punk and rock to pop and poetry slam. The festival is complemented by the popular Children’s Festival, the traditional Butjerfest, and numerous activities for the whole family.

Music on Two Stages

The Fährmannsfest is all about musical diversity. Over the course of the two-day festival, the music stage will feature an energetic lineup that includes H-Blockx, Betontod, Lagwagon, Rantanplan, Good Riddance, Team Scheisse, Alarmsignal, and many other bands.

At the Bunte Bühne, there will be free concerts featuring artists such as Kai & Funky from Ton Steine Scherben feat. Birte Volta, Monsters Of Liedermaching, Jenny Thiele, Linski, Jumi, as well as the traditional “Macht Worte!” open-air poetry slam. 

Children's Festival and Butjerfest

A colorful family program awaits visitors at Faust-Wiese on Saturday and Sunday. The children’s festival invites kids to join in the fun with bounce houses, arts and crafts, face painting, active games, and a storyteller.

On Sunday, the traditional Butjerfest will also take place. In addition to the Butjer parade, guests can look forward to traditional children’s games, the Butjer Diploma, Linden’s longest coffee table, and a varied cultural program. Admission to the Faust-Wiese is free on both days.

Tickets for the music stage are available in advance. No admission ticket is required for the events on the Faust-Wiese.
