The International Fireworks Competition takes place annually against the impressive backdrop of our Herrenhausen Gardens.
Against the historic backdrop of Herrenhausen, selected teams from different nations compete against each other every year and present artfully choreographed fireworks, coordinated with the music and theme. The combination of horticultural baroque architecture, technical precision and creative diversity makes the competition a fixed highlight in Hanover's calendar of events and a magnet for visitors from Germany and abroad.
