From July 22 to August 9, 2026, the Maschsee in Hannover will once again be transformed into a large festival area. Look forward to a diverse program featuring live music, concerts, shows, international specialties, and plenty of activities for the whole family. On the stages around the lake, you can enjoy live music, dance shows, and DJ sets in a unique atmosphere right on the water. International artists and regional bands will perform pop, rock, jazz, and electronic music. The 2026 Maschseefest program offers something for a wide range of musical tastes

Highlights of the week of August 3–9 include the concerts and live shows on the main stage on the north shore, including the “UNESCO City of Music Hannover” program, Munique, and the grand closing festival on Sunday. Another special experience is the traditional torchlight swim on Saturday evening, during which more than 100 divers transform Maschsee into an impressive sea of lights. The program is rounded out by the popular Maschsee Pirates, a wide range of family activities on the Kinderwiese, and numerous other music, sports, and hands-on activities around the lake.
