Presentation of the 2018 Hannover Science Prize
Founded in 1921 as the "Hannoversche Hochschulgemeinschaft," the association supports Leibniz University Hannover in its scientific, vocational, and educational endeavors, coordinates collaboration among the fields of science, administration, business, and culture, and supports students. The association comprises a total of six foundations. These make an important contribution through funding measures for scientific and academic projects, the awarding of scholarships, and the presentation of the Hannover Science Prizes.
The association is supported by its 1,500 members, who help achieve its goals through their membership dues.
