The ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems Division (formerly WABCO) is the world's leading supplier of brake control systems and other technologies for improving the safety, efficiency and connectivity of commercial vehicles.

ZF Friedrichshafen acquired WABCO Holdings Inc. in 2020 and, with 150,000 employees, operates at approximately 260 locations in 41 countries. In Lower Saxony, the company operates at locations in Hanover, Gronau, Jeversen (test track), and Langenhagen (distribution center).

Wabco ZF nurtures its young talent at its in-house academy.

Hanover is the company's largest product development and manufacturing site. Among other things, the company develops electronic braking systems, hydraulic anti-lock braking systems, transmission actuators, and compressors here.

Also based in Hanover is the WABCO Academy, the center of excellence for professional training solutions, as well as the associated Sales & Training Center. ZF Commercial Vehicle Control Systems currently employs more than 2,200 people at its Hanover location, including approximately 750 engineers.
